This is probably the most promising, talented harpist to come along in many years! Kirsten has such an excellent, measured touch on the strings that her music lifts you to another dimension - as if the angels were truly serenading. Her sound is just as wonderful & healing no matter how you listen to it - earphones, car or hospital intensive care room. I hope she makes music forever!

With the introduction of her first CD recording, Dream World, Kirsten Agresta invites the listener to travel with her into the ethereal world of the harp. Long relegated to obscurity in the symphony orchestra or as an accompaniment for a wedding ceremony or an afternoon tea, Ms. Agresta introduces us to the harp in a new and evocative way. Although the harp occupies a central place in her musical heart, Ms. Agresta chose to return to the keyboard repertory of her youth for inspiration. The result is a CD that is full of little jewels, each presenting a chance for the listener to close their eyes and dream. From the opening Andante from the Bach Violin Sonata No.2, each successive track gently cajoles the listener to relax and indulge in melodies that are spiritually moving and rewarding in their sheer beauty. One cannot help but be drawn in by the breadth of her artistic expression. Ms. Agresta plays with an artistic virtue that belies her age. One can only hope that this CD is the first of what will be many more opportunities to hear such a wonderful talent.

There are no words to describe the pure delight that I feel when I hear this music. I was in need of some beautiful music that would be appropriate for a very serious visit with a friend who is going through the proceedings of a difficult divorce. I did not want any vocal renditions of songs that would be difficult for my friend to listen to. &qupt;Dream World" played over and over and the selections were perfect! We both enjoyed every minute...

I loved this cd! It is great music to put on when you get home from work and want to relax and unwind. I also listen to it before I go to bed because it is very soothing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for some beautiful, soft, classical music to listen to. I've also found that it is especially good for putting babies (as well as adults!) to sleep!!!
